• Yes but why spend the extra for the 1 gb if you just going to jump to 2 right away save yourself some cash and grab the 512 unit

• I'm assuming if it's just an nvme slot yes best buy will be able to upgrade it if you provide the new ssd, but it'll probably be super easy and save you a few bucks if you watch a youtube video and give it a shot! BBY charged like 40 bucks for a ram install when I worked there lol
