Hey Griffith, Officially, the Legion Pro 5 is tested to support up to 1TB in each storage slot. The storage capacity supported is based on the test results with current Lenovo storage offerings. With that being said, theoretically, the system's open M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot should accommodate whatever M.2 storage option you prefer given that it fits within the boundaries of the slot (i.e., an SSD with larger heatsinks may be too large for the slot).
