Hey Shay, Yes, open-box items are still eligible for the 1-year manufacturer warranty. If you purchase an open-box item and find that the warranty coverage for that unit is shorter than 12 months, we recommend visiting this Lenovo Support webpage: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/servicerequest?ProblemType=/warranty/, selecting “Warranty start date update”, supplying the respective information, as once given a proof of purchase, the support team may be able to set your manufacturer warranty start date to align with the date of purchase and the length of coverage to its respective duration.
