The 3050Ti will drive the 4K screen without any issues. Gaming at 4K will be another story though. Probably won't be able to do a lot of gaming at 4K.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So yes, although it is a strange pairing, it does handle "ok". Most games will not allow you to run it in 4k resolution, but you can. Being realistic, you need to reduce the resolution (varies between games) to get the best performances. I have been running benchmarks on a few games, and below are my averages Red Dead Redemption 2 - Ultra - 2560x1440p - AVG 68FPS Forza Horizon 4 - Ultra - 2560x1440p - AVG 95FPS Car Mechanic Sim 2021 - Ultra - 1920x1080p - AVG 81FPS So can it Run games? Yes quite well, but unfortunately, you cant access the 4k panel to its full extent. It technically "can" handle 4k, but dont expect it to run smooth or look nice. The graphics card just cant handle it. Its a bummer that with the CPU you get, and the display to match, that they didnt throw something else in here that would benefit the performance. BUT, I am not saying it isnt worthy. I have owned it for about a month now, and the display is a treat while gaming. The Colors are awesome, and when plugged in, performance is better and the display "wakes up". If you get one of these, make sure to use HDR while the device is plugged in for the extra crispness.

Please try again later.It’s indeed a odd pairing note the Screen is only 60HZ so I ensure you cap the FPS out at 60 since anything over ain’t gonna make a difference plus that gives more power to get more 4K gaming. Really no point in trying to make it push more than 60FPS personally if I gotta drop down to 30FPS it’s still better than what your average modern day console dishes out.
