• Mine ran fine but yeah 5p0 is pushing it. I already put a 850 psu

• From some reddit posts, people say they never really gone over 300w with their 4070. Some say it peaks at 450w, with LEDs and other accessories in their build. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/12zj73d/is_a_600w_psu_enough_for_an_rtx_4070/ Google it and see if you think you are going to be OK with 500w PSU, as everyone uses the system differently.
