Greetings from the Intel team. Thank you for your question. The RAM might not run at full speed because the CPU doesn’t support it; therefore, it will run at the maximum speed supported by the CPU. The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i model 90UT001AUS comes with the Intel® Core™ i5 processor 14400F, which supports the following memory types: up to DDR5 4800 MT/s, up to DDR4 3200 MT/s. Maximum supported memory speed may be lower when populating multiple DIMMs per channel on products that support multiple memory channels. The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i supports different Intel CPUs, some supporting memory types up to DDR5 5600 MT/s. For further information, check the product specifications reference (PSREF): https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/Legion/Legion_T5_26IRB8?tab=spec For detailed information about the Intel® Core™ i5 processor 14400F, visit: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/236777/intel-core-i5-processor-14400f-20m-cache-up-to-4-70-ghz.html Thank you for choosing Intel! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, after much reading on the Lenovo website and looking at the motherboard specifications for this model Legion 5i with the Intel CPU the stock memory will run at 4400MHz only. The stock 16GB memory from Lenovo that comes with this Legion 5i is labeled at 5600MHz on the memory but however the bios and PC will only recognize 4400MHz. I wish I knew that before purchasing 5600MHz memory because it is misleading. The 5600MHz memory works but at the slower speed mentioned. The Legion 5i PC's on the other hand with the AMD CPU installed will run up to 5200MHz with DDR5. Overall, I'm still please with this purchase.

If you're running the latest version of the BIOS and once in the BIOS went into More Settings > Advanced > Memory Setting > Customer Profile, and selecting "Custom XMP" isn't an option, along with selecting DRAM Frequency, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, to work with someone for more in-depth troubleshooting to solve this.
