There is contradictory information on the answers to this question, so if you are really interested, I would recommend going to one of the major supplies of RAM (PNY, Kingston, etc.), where you can search by make/model or motherboard. It's in their best interest to sell you the maximum you can use, and also to be happy with the purchase.
