Q: QuestionDoes this work with a brand new ideapad S540? The computer is not getting charged by its cord. I want to try another cord to see if it is the cord or is it the computer.

• A:Answer It is possible that the Battery Saver software on your computer is showing the computer - Plugged In But Not Charging. Let the battery drain unplugged to below 50-percent, then plug the computer back in to see if the battery begins charging. This 65W USB-c AC adapter/charger is compatible with the IdeaPad S540 Series laptops, should you need a new charger.

• A:Answer If you have a 2017 or 2018 version of the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon, with USB-c AC adapter power port on the computer, yes this 65W replacement AC adapter is compatible. Make sure you have a USB-c power port. Older Thinkpad X1 Carbon Models do not have the USB-c port port.
