• Hello, thanks for your question. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is an always on device and requires an active internet connection to function. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential can be connected to with Bluetooth.

• Both WiFi and Bluetooth The Best Buy specs only say Bluetooth but the Lenovo website says both: Connectivity 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4G/5G dual band Bluetooth® 5.0
