Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only light seems to be the clock itself. But it seems to dim at night - so dim that I can't read it. I haven't figured out a way to keep the clock brighter in the dark. So, I would say "No, this does not have a night light."

But it does not have a dedicated LED light source like the Smart Clock Essential does, and the "nightlight" feature can't be activated by voice. I am disappointed with the nightlight feature, but otherwise prefer the touch screen interface to the more limited clock face of the Essential version.

The Lenovo Smart Clock with Google assistant model #ZA4R0002US has an on screen night light that can be set to different brightness levels and colors up to 30 minutes. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential model # ZA740005US has a dedicated night light LED built into the back if the unit that can be left on indefinitely.
