Hi Taylor. Yes, the display can be turned off! Simply say “Okay Google turn off my screen”. You can also have your Lenovo Smart Clock automatically turn off the screen by adjusting its "Low Light" settings.

I usually leave it at 5, which is reasonably bright in the daytime, and also rather bright at night. But if you do not wish to see the clock or photos or whatever screen you select to have displayed you can set the display illumination down to a 1, which I imagine would be dim to the point of uselessness.
