“Is there a jack in the back to plug in headphones/ earbuds? I am old school and subscribe to the KISS method. Is there a back up battery in case of a power failure? I don't want to be late for work. If no to both of these please incorporate.”

• No there is no headphone jack but it does have a USB port to charge your phone, smartwatch, etc. But there is no backup battery

• Hi Jim! The Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant does not have a headphone jack or battery backup. Please note that if you set a repeating alarm your alarm information will be retained during the event of a brief power outage.

• No headphone or auxiliary port. You plug it in and thats it’s power source so there is no battery.
