“are you able to use a USB C to HDMI cord on this tablet? I have messed with the settings for the USB and it wont let me make changes when connected.”

The Lenovo Tab M10 Tablet, model number ZA6W0175US, ships with a USB-c 2.0 version port that should allow you to connect a USB-c to HDMI adapter, then connecting your standard HDMI to that adapter, allow you to connect this tablet to an HDMI compatible monitor.
