No, what you need to do is go in the Settings/Display, and change the tablet display timeout setting to never, that way the display never times out and turns off, having it continuously plugged in just means you’ll never run out of battery, I have two of these M10 tablets for my flight simulator for continuous feed of instruments. Be warned though batteries don’t like that and you’ll be sending your battery to an early retirement if you have it plugged in all the time, you may want to invest in a charger with smart trickle charge technology that way it only charges when it needs to and doesn’t burn the battery with continuous charge.
