“I bought this but can't figure out how to return to the home screen or go back to the previous screen. There's no icon at the bottom of the screen to tap like on my other devices. What's the trick?”

Just swipe up from the bottom middle of the screen and it should take you back to home. If you swipe up and then keep holding your finger on the screen, it will bring up all the open tabs/apps.
