Yes its runs it very well! Big screen and bright colors and it would also handle very well if your son wants other games too like minecraft

Please try again later.it work excellent with any game the only 2 things i see as a flaw is if you leave the area where your modem or router is located you will loose wifi signal and the other thin is battery takes for ever to charge. other than that i love the tablet. Trisha it has good amount of space for games.
