No. The web cam does not have a privacy shutter.

You can turn it around on the axis to effectively shut it off. Again, very hard to connect to anything but Lenovo Tiny PC's. So, if you are on the market for an All-in-One computer - I recommend consider the system. As a standalone monitor - it's not worth headaches.
