• I have just recently researched this problem myself I needed to change a keyboard on mine and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. There is a single slot below the keyboard and you must use a single stick. If you go to Lenovo support and analyze your laptop they can tell you the upgrade limits. Most likely like mine you will be able to go to 8 gigs.

• It's not upgradable. I asked the tech who was selling it. It's in an enclosed case.
