Is this going to be a permanent thing? I really wouldn't mind waiting for a month or two if it means getting double the DDR and a superior chipset. I love everything about this laptop and kind of have my heart set on it, but if there's no chance of getting it, I might as well order the Surface 2 now.”

The product is probably being removed from inventory due to overwhelming returns back to the store. if you haven't already read the reviews, this product has excellent form factor, excellent build quality, but horrible WiFi performance. Since it's a tablet and the only way you can connect it to the internet is WiFi, the poor Wifi chip makes the product unusable. It's so bad Lenovo sent me a sales email on this product with a $300 price drop the second week of release!

I called a friend of mine today that works there and by a miracle they found one in the store behind a ton of other laptop boxes. It wasn't even in their inventory. They added it and sold ti to me which was amazing. I believe it is delayed because it's not supposed to be $1199. It is $1599 on lenovo.com so they are probably working that out. Definitely pick it up if you see it - it's awesome :)
