Yes the Yoga Pro 2 can push a 'higher resolution'. But the yoga is 3k, so only higher is 4k. It will only push to 1 external above 1080p, it can't handle 2. But only way to do this is with hdmi cable, and hdmi capabilities and 'has well' capabilities will only support 30 fps pushing to your samsung. You will/might also have to play with both intel graphics settings, and your samsung monitor settings to get this to work and sync perfect. But with some tinkering, it will work just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not easy to find a laptop graphic card which supports 3840 x 2160 resolution, even a gaming laptop because of the laptop screen resolution. The graphic quality will be reduced, so it is pointless to have this lap top connected to a UHD monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see that this is 3 1/2 months old...but for what it's worth: I have mine set up as a dual monitor with a Samsung HD monitor that I bought at Staples during the holiday sales. The only time I notice a loss in resolution is when I bring a window over from the laptop to the monitor. However, once I've brought it over...I minimize it and open it again and it is crystal clear. I hope this answers your question!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works well together except when you first plug it in it takes over the volume. You have to go in and reset the Lonovo to send the audio back to laptop jack.
