Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Yes you can play DVD's and blue rays but you will need to purchase an external player. We wanted to do this with our Yoga 2 Pro and purchased an LG 8x External USB 2.0 Bluray Disc DoubleLayer DVD±RWCDRW Disc Rewriter BP50NB40 at Best Buy for $69 on sale. This works great with the Yoga. Be aware though that the Yoga only has 2 USB ports. 1 of them is a USB 2 and the other a USB 3. The Blue ray players have 2 USB cords. The instructions on the blue ray said to try it with 1 cord and see if it works before connecting cord 2. The player did work with 1 cord so we were happy. We did purchase an Insignia 4Port USB 2.0 Hub Black NS-PCH5421 for $25 bucks at Best Buy to help overcome the USB port shortage on the Yoga. (I think 3 USB's should be standard. Not sure why they skimped on the 3rd port., Anyway, hope this helps!
