• According to Lenovo the body's exterior is a hybrid of Steel, and Aluminum. Also the inside is texturized rubber.

• It is a rubberized surface with small raised dots. I find it helps keep my palms properly place for typing as my hands tend to slide around smooth surfaces,

• some sort or rubberized textured plastic. Not sure of the exact material. It feels fine on the heels of your palms when typing etc. I
