“1. Will a 12GB or 16GB RAM version of this be available soon? 2. Is the screen glossy or matt? I'm concerned about using it outdoors, especially as the display is <300 nits.”

Lenovo lists a 16GB option on their website but the laptop is so new their own website still lists the laptops as coming soon. The memory is soldered to the motherboard, so you won't be able to upgrade later. It is a glossy screen but not very reflective. It has incredible contrast, ultra deep blacks and amazing color. It has the best screen I've seen on any mobile device and rivals my QLED tv! I believe whatever material they use to make the blacks so great is also absorbing a lot of the ambient light. The off axis viewing is almost perfect too! No noticeable color washout or fade at any angle. I haven't tried it outside yet but with bright lights indoors the reflections are not bad at all for a glossy screen. In the store I didn't really notice how good it looked but as soon as I got it home it was shocking how good it looks.
