“Is this laptop compatible with a dell docking station? My old ideapad worked perfectly but I can't get the display on my monitors with this laptop using the universal/standard dell docking station.”

Can't speak exactly for the Dell docking station, but for work we use Thinkpad USB C dock Gen 2 and this laptop worked flawlessly with it. Should work fine with USB-C docks, TB3 is less so. As with all hardware, make sure you have drivers on hand.
