“I bought an open box Yoga 710 14 inch. Everything was great but the fan came on all the time while web browsing, watching movie or even sometimes when idle. Does this happen to others as well or did I get a dud?”

Yes, I have the same issue and it seems a lot of other do too. I updated one driver and nothing changed. The other driver was downloaded but my laptop wouldn't install it.

You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for driver updates for Power Management" for your specific system, if the fan continues to run even when the system is idle. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes, then create a new restore point once the issue is fixed.
