Obviously you get more onboard storage space with the 1TB standard HDD. The SSD or solid state drive within this system may have less storage space but it is faster at opening programs and files. This means the system takes less time to boo or wake up. Your files and programs will open faster. You can always add external hard drives for extra storage and you should always have an external hard drive for your recovery files and to archive important data off the system. You can also use Cloud Storage to supplement your onboard storage space. Consider performance over "warehouse space".

I agree with Lenovo answer. You need just enough storage to store system, software and apps and some files, some photos and videos. Better to have a portable hard drive to backup system, hold important files and docs, videos etc and back up any cherished photos and important files on a cloud server.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SSD seems smother, faster and more stable. It is a better version of processor.
