• No, but the keys are recessed slightly within the keyboard to keep them from depressing when in tablet mode. Also, the keyboard and touchpad turn off automatically when the screen is rotated more than 185-degrees.

• All the flip models lock the keys in place to avoid unnecessary input.

• I purchased the 710 15 inch model and it does lock the keyboard when you rotate the screen past a certain point.
