“Does the laptop heat up when listening to music and browsing the internet? I hope that putting the laptop on my lap wouldn't be too heat. The last laptop I tried had a heating problem.”

This system will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device, automatically, just be sure to always keep the venting ports clear. The device will become warm to the touch under normal operation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's not super hot but keep in mind there are vents under the laptop so it can exhaust. I've had it for a month and love it. I browse with over 20 windows open, excellent, word are all open at all times. I run the machine for 6 to 7 hours a day... whether on the go or stationary. It boots up from sleep fast. All around good device for the money when compared to the surface laptop which I returned in favor of this machine which cost 500 less.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I often keep it in sleep mode and do not turn it off for days. But I never encountered any heating problem till date. The heat is very minimal. Only once, after I had kept the system on for consecutively 9days without turning it off, it did heat up but that issue was gone in sometime when I placed it on the desk.
