This unit has soldered memory, so you cannot upgrade memory nor storage capacity. This has become very common on intermediately priced computers. If you need more capacity for either, you'll need to select another model at the time of purchase. If you require a computer that is reconfigurable, as a Best Buy Associate. They have makes and models which are reconfigurable, but are generally more expensive.
