    • Answer Hey Kristine, Regarding upgradability, memory cannot be expanded since it is soldered to the systemboard and there is only one storage slot, but you can swap out the preinstalled 512GB drive for one of higher capacity. Based on test results with current Lenovo offerings, a 1TB M.2242 SSD is the max storage size that is certified to be supported; however, up to 4TB, a single-sided M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 drive should work with the system. With fan noise, this is designed to be very minimal for the user with the Core Ultra 5 series 2 processor, running cooler and more efficient. However, should fan noise ever be a priority for you, like during a meeting for example, by pressing the Fn + Q keys simultaneously you can change the thermal profile for the system to make sure no one is disturbed.
