The 100.00 difference is due to the OS. 
The extra 100 is for Windows 10 Pro instead of Windows 10 Home.

That's weird. It's supposed to be $100-200 more for the 512 and 16 over the 256 and 8. I'd call Lenovo on that.

Yes as far as I know. I couldn't however get the gold one in stock, it's quite premium.

Yes, Lenovo made this model in three colors, Champagne Gold, Clementine Orange and Platinum Silver.
