“Are Office 2010 programs compatible with the Yoga 900 display at 3200 x 1800? If not, can scaling or adjusting resolution solve the issue. I will not be upgrading Office and the Yoga won't work for me if it can't display Word or Excel documents right.”

You can scale down the screen resolution on the Yoga 900-13. Just right click on the Windows 10 desktop, select "Display Settings" and you can adjust the screen resolution there. Try out the 4K setting first. Microsoft Office 2010 may be OK at that resolution.
