I like the Yoga 900 because of the 16 gb ram and the ability to software such as GIS apps and Autocad. Touch screen ability is a plus!

Purchased this 3 months ago and loved it. Then as I was opening it today, the screen cracked in the lower left corner. I have never dropped it or treated it "rough" or anything. Turns out the Lenovo message boards are full of similar stories and Lenovo will not stand behind their product. Rather they have taken to the same message boards to insult their customers and tell them they just dont know how to handle their equipment. I will never buy another Lenovo, am actively telling friends to do the same, and am considering further action.

After reading all of the reviews, I purchased this Lenovo Yoga and am very pleased. It is light, fast and just what I needed. The battery life is great, keyboard is very comfortable to use and I love that it can be used like a tablet as well. Wish it was less expensive but very happy with the purchase. I have had it about a month so far and no complaints.

We wanted a light weight, yet robust device to take with us on vacations, so we could create our daily blog entries and update our websites. This really fits the bill. I wasn't sure at first if I really wanted a "2 in 1" type device, wasn't sure the 'tablet mode" would be something I'd use, but I really like the option! I also really have found a lot of unexpected value in the fact that the screen is touch-screen - never even realized I wanted that in a laptop before! It's peppy - and responsive. Boots up in moments, and I have found that all of my favorite software runs like a charm. Love the solid state drive - It may be all in my head, but I believe it makes my software boot faster and everything just a bit peppier. The battery life is strong - and it charges back up quickly once drained. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend to friends or family looking for a device in this category.

As lightweight as my Macbook Air, but waaaay more functional. I love the touchscreen, the speed, the size. It stays cool on my lap, it is quiet, and the battery lasts quite a long time. I almost think it is the perfect laptop.

I tried yoga 900 after detail review of all the laptops. I was looking for a laptop which is light in weight yet powerful. I'm not a gaming person. I received the product within four days. It was as advertised. The design is very sleek. Highly recommended. Pros: Lightweight, sleek design, speed is decent Cons: I think Lenovo could have done well on the keyboard. Though the laptop looks very sleek and stylish, I did not get the same feel when I type it. The sense of superficiality sets and once I start typing. The home button which is beside the backspace is confusing and takes time for me to adapt. It slows me down. Yoga 900 is priced higher than the rest of the laptop but probably it's worth it given the functionality

Love everything about this laptop. Was shopping for smaller, more portable laptop for my business. I'm always on the go and needing something that would perform in many different environments. I'm not overly techy but expect seemless performance. It was the third computer I bought, selecting a Dell, then Microsoft Surface and then the Yoga. I loved the surface, but this is only slightly larger. I'm thrilled with the speed - I bought for the processor/ram. In laptop or tablet mode it works perfectly. I only have one issue with the on off switch. It's right side location sometimes gets pressed unintentionally when setting the tablet on that side. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

I absolutely love this computer. The battery is excellent and it is very quiet. The hinge is solid and doesn't make me worry about breaking it. The computer is lightning fast and easy to operate. The touch screen works flawlessly and tablet mode is a sinch. I am thoroughly pleased with this product and highly recommend to anyone looking for a new computer. I did extensive research before buying this computer. I talked to a couple computer mechanics, the sales reps, friends that own the same one, and online reviews and this one came in at the top every time. This is a high quality computer!!!

So far so good...light weight, touch screen works..I have kept most of the settings that it came with..I have even begun to read a book on it..Talk about a big kindle...I like it better than my Apple Pro tablet.. 3 downsides...no optical drive...and only 2 usb drives..the keyboard light could be brighter. Battery is lasting 8 plus hours so far. LA flight to Atlanta..Word document and music running at the same time. Using it for work and transporting back and forth from home daily...nice to have full size computing in a light weight machine. PS...1 more downside but it is moot if you are looking at this product in the 1st place and that is the price...plus tax and the 3 year warranty brings it up to $1700. I would pay this price over the ipad pro or surface books. I was really looking hard at surface books but their reviews were just so consistent with people returning them due to things tearing up on them. And if you look at a fully stocked surface with close to the same specs it is the same price.....Surface book and iPad Pro for me are all about the cool factor not for serious workers..And yes there are cheaper out there with the specs but I feel that the Lenovo was better made.

This is my 3rd yoga and absolutely love them. My first was a used model. Super light compared to traditional laptop. My 2nd was a graduation gift. Touch screen is very responsive. Unfortunately it was stolen from my vehicle so I immediately went and purchased my 3rd and seems like every new model I buy is lighter and faster than the one before. Great for table use, in bed, or as a tablet. A style prop is awesome for watching movies. Extremely satisfied. Thanks Lenovo

It was time to replace my old VAIO, and I wanted a laptop I could use both for work and to watch videos and listen to music at home. Moreover, I knew I was going to be traveling with it, so it had to be light and well made. This 2-in-1 is just what I was looking for: powerful, super fast, and very light. Using it on tablet mode, I can easily make handwritten notes for my students with a stylus. Moreover, the Yoga 900 looks stylish and one battery charge lasts me for several hours working on Microsoft Office, with a couple of tabs on my browser open and Spotify running in the bakground. By the way, I also took advantage of a sale on the Lenovo Yoga 900 Laptop Sleeve, which looks great, has a magnetic close and is a perfect fit. I strongly recommend it, too.

I'd been a Thinkpad user for many years, and when Lenovo bough the brand from IBM, I kind of went along. When I was shopping for the laptop before this one, I jumped the Thinkpad ship, but I'm still very happy with Lenovo in general. This laptop specifically is quite sweet. It's got a powerful processor, a big SSD, solid memory, and a great screen at a price point that is really reasonable, given what's in this thing. It's really light and easy to carry around, and does everything I need. A note, it's not my only computer (I have a desktop) and for power users, I'm not sure it would be the best only computer, but as a great portable computer, or if you're not a power user, it's a great deal.

Purchased as a laptop for a high school student. Fits the bill perfectly -- good performance, SSD hard drive, touch screen, lightweight (extremely) and great battery life.

After a few weeks using this Yoga900 unit, I am so far very satisfied. The look and feel are excellent and the battery life for routine wireless operation is at least 8 hours. I like the tactile keyboard, but the touchpad looks like it will not wear well. The unit works great in laptop mode, but the tablet configuration is a little klunky (it works, but is a little funky with the keyboard hanging out there). All in all, this is an excellent unit, worth the extra $$ you spend to get it.

First of all, I love the design than speed, durability and battery life solid quality. So I give 5 stars.

This Laptop cannot be beat in this price range. Even better is the Best Buy price for 16gb, 512gb SSD, and an I7 processor. My only wish is that Best Buy had it in orange for the same price. My wife has the HP Spectre X360 which is also a great laptop, but I prefer the weight of the Yoga 900. I also looked at the Dell XPS, but while I found it nice the price to get even close to these specs was way to much.

I have had my Yoga for 6 months and I LOVE IT! I bought this when my 2008 MacBook Pro finally crapped out. I belly-ache over whether to pony up the dough for a new Mac but the Yoga looked so cool and the price was so good that I couldn't resist. After 6 months I can say that I have NO regrets. In fact my husband and my mom each bought the same one as well and they are equally pleased.

Lenovo offers a reliable name brand and the weight of the unit cannot be beat. The keyboard has a good feel and the touch screen option is a bonus to an already accessible keyboard. The total package fits many purposes.

This laptop is perfect to take on the road. It is lightweight and pretty fast. It is not the latest model, but for less dollars you get a 512 GB SDD which makes start-up very quick as well as other disk functions. The display is crisp and has good resolution. This replaces a Yoga 2 Pro I had previously and is a definite improvement. I only wish it came with Windows 10 Pro instead of home.

I love this computer! The 512 solid state is more than enough room to keep all my storage. The 16 gig ram is lightening fast. The style and weight of the unit is sleek and light. I have had many ask me about it in the coffee shops. A real eye catcher. Most of all, I really enjoy it's performance. I hope to keep this for many years.
