Not sure about gaming, but the college student: My daughter used my new 910 Yoga while she was home for Spring break. She LOVES it. She is begging for one now (graduation present--hmmm?). My daughter is a very picky laptop user. She is quick to complain about speed, response, and even how loud the fan is. She has given nothing but praise for this laptop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good enough for student. Minimum graphics on all games becouse you don't have GPU only Intel HD 620 chip that is approximately same as Nvidia 920 Chip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would depend on the game. We would recommend you check with the game software publisher for their compatibility with Windows 10 64-bit version. Also check for minimum/recommended hardware requirements, then compare those requirements/compatibility to this system's configuration. As for its usefulness for a student at the college level, this again would depend on the work the student is going to do. Are they in an engineering program? Will there be specialized programs that the student will be running? If both those questions are answered "no", then this is a great system for a student doing mainly Microsoft Office projects, online research et cetera.
