• Only you can really answer that question as it depends on how memory intensive the programs you use are as far as the RAM goes and what types of things do you like to store on your computer. If you plan on downloading lots of movies or storing videos, you'll probably want the 512 vs 256.

• That depends on your needs. In addition to the increased RAM and hard drive space, you are also getting a 4K resolution screen. What you are getting for the additional $200 is great value, and will give you "future protection" as you increase the things you do with your computer.
