Anyone that's curious about this its referring to this thread in the Lenovo forum: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/i9-weak-wi-fi-signal/m-p/5056282?page=2
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This defect has not been corrected. I purchased this laptop on 12/18/21 and I am having WiFi issues that are identical to what was outlined in the Lenovo forums. My phone and older computer get full WiFi signals and 50 mbps. The brand new $1500 Lenovo gets one WiFi bar in the same location and the top speed I have seen is 3 Mbps. Lenovo will respond with an automated comment to try a number of online driver updates etc, but none of those work. The only way to correct this is to remove screws from inside the computer which may or may not void the warranty. Ridiculous this problem has not been corrected after 18 months and Lenovo is still pretending it is a driver issue. It is really too bad because other than the WiFi issue this is a pretty cool machine, I will be returning. I suppose if you feel comfortable dismantling your brand new laptop then the fix may work for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a very fast WiFi signal with absolutely no lagging at all. Additionally when researching this device this laptop was given a 4.9-5 rating by the experts and coming from a Mac to this Lenovo I gave to agree.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the manufacturing data on my computer was 4/1/21 and I just had to return it due to this problem. Best Buy was very kind in allowing me to return outside the return window on this one as it was only a month old.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi DarkRaider: I am unaware of the manufacturer defect that you mentioned. Now, that you have brought it to my attention, I will check. Thank you Kassim
