Model number 81JL0018US ships with the Eight-Core Qualcomm SDM850, Snapdragon 850 Mobile processor. This processor has a speed of 2.96GHz.

The base processor speed is 2.96 gigahertz.

I have no idea about the processor speed. But I have few things to share. You can request from Geek Squad to change Window 10 S to Window 10 Home, Geek squad tried to change it to Window 10 Pro but was unable to do it. The main reason I bought the computer was because of the SIM card, I have the Surface Go with SIM card too. And you can actually use one SIM card to move it back and forth from my Surface Go (when I go inside Disneyland and I want it handy- 10 inches) or my Lenovo (if I wanted a bigger screen 13.3 inches). I use T-Mobile SIM card and it is very fast. I travel a couple of times and stayed in hotels, and WIFI in hotels are so slow or sometimes none at all, but with my computer with SIM card, I do not experienced bad connection or no connection anymore!!!! The battery is great too!!! 15 hours long. This computer is a good buy!!! . I bought it for $549 only with no service contract needed!!!

the 8GB of RAM makes easy work of multitasking.

I can’t really tell you. I can say this is one of the best business laptops we’ve seen. With the 4g service our office manager is always connected. Great battery life. It runs on a Mobile processor.
