• Yes keyboard is backlit. You can turn it on or off. Touch screen is always on. Can be used as a tablet, too.

• Yes there is a backlit keyboard on the Lenovo Yoga C740-14. Regarding the touchscreen, just turn the computer on. The default setting for the touchscreen is on.
