Did anyone else have an issue with the McAfee antivirus software? As soon as I downloaded it and tried to restart to complete the installation, my laptop became sluggish and unresponsive. Once I was able to uninstall it, my laptop was back to normal... null

I tried the 30-day trial McAfee LiveSafe, but I found it slow to scan also. I uninstalled it, and downloaded BitDefender AntiVirus Free. So much faster!

McAfee was once one of the best AV programs but has since just joined the ranks of other OEM bloatware. Microsoft's build in Windows Defender has moved up to become one of the best AV applications in the market. The best part is, it's FREE with Windows 10 and it's already installed on your machine. Updates are pushed with the normal weekly MS updates.
