Hi. I had the same issue with my Lenovo Yoga and it was driving me crazy but then I found THE solution: the built in Lenovo Vantage app keeps turning the mic off and sometimes even the camera. All you need to do is to open it (you can write Vantage in the search box on the bottom left), go to device, go to device settings (within the app), go to audio and enable the mic or to the video and enable the camera if it is off as well.
