QuestionAnyone knows why the same configuration is more expensive in the Lenovo website (even with big discount)?

- Answer When I was first shopping for this laptop I had looked at Lenovo's site. I have purchased a few laptops DIRECTLY through Lenovo and they do try to be competitive. The only good reason I could give that you find them less expensive @ Best Buy, etc. is that the retailers probably buy in "bulk" and get a set number of configurations. This makes it a bit cheaper for them. Then, they have their own sales, etc. Personally, I liked the configuration Best Buy was offering. I think it "ticked" all the boxes for me, and was a bit less than on the Lenovo site. So I went for it. Just got back from my 2nd business trip using it and love it.

QuestionCan Lenovo Yoga C930 multitask well? i.e. 4 channels in Slack while doing a screen share in Appear.in (browser-based video conferencing) while having 10 other cloud-based software apps open in Chrome (Xero, Asana, Everhour, G-Suite), also Excel, Word?

- Answer No, it doesn't multitask well. I've had Chrome and Illustrator crash on me while using the Yoga, and that was with only four tabs open and a simple 2-layer project on Illustrator. That, and the software desktop-switching feature is rather clunky and awkward.

- Answer It will depend on the quality of the video you are watching on the device. If you use a 4K video and compare the 4K version of the Yoga c930-14 and the FHD version Yoga C930-14, you will see the difference. It all depends on the quality of the content you are viewing on the screen. There is more 4K content available on the internet than ever before.

QuestionDo both the Mica and Iron Gray models have Gorilla Glass for the screen? If not, what material? I can't seem to find any information on what type of material the panel is made out of other than IPS. It seems to be scratch resistant, but I cannot tell.

QuestionDoes this device function well with lots of websites and spreadsheets open at the same time? Current device freezes.

- Answer I’ve had this laptop for over 2 weeks and have not had a problem once with it freezing while multitasking. It does tend to pause or freeze when going from computer mode to tablet mode, but that’s due to it reconfiguring the layout of the screen. So far I have no complaints about the performance of this computer except one. If you plan on doing any video editing, get a computer with a better graphic’s card.

- Answer The exact resolution of the screen on this model is 3840 x 2160 (UHD). The actual resolution will obviously depend on the resolution of the content being viewed. If the video content is resolution of less than 3840 x 2160 (UHD) resolution, obviously the image on the screen will be less than 3840 x 2160 (UHD).

- Answer No. The Lenovo Yoga C930-14 4K model number 81C4000EUS, uses a Thunderbolt USB-c port with video out for connecting an external monitor. If you need to connect an HDMI monitor to this computer, you can use a Thunderbolt USB-c to HDMI adapter.

- Answer Pretty sure it will. It has a built-in pen, but haven't used it much. We have older model Yoga that runs the programs OK.
