The cooling fan is always on. Q-Control allows the user to manually modulate the fan performance. The three settings within Q-Control are: silent, auto, and performance. The Lenovo Yoga C940-14 ships with a 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery with a battery life of up to 15 hours depending on the work the device is performing: Light to moderate use - 15 hours or less, moderate to heavy use 10 hours and less, again depending on workload.
