• I have only had mine for a week, but I haven't run into that issue. I don't use Chrome, though--Firefox and Edge.

• HI. I have had my Lenovo C940 i7 for about a month. I have done a lot of web browsing and uploading sd memory card pics via added thunderbolt sd card reader. I have used it for 1-2hours at a time and have had no fan noise what-so-ever. I too was concerned about this issue. This is an awesome laptop- couldn't be happier.
