Touchpad glitches – common in laptops like the Yoga Slim 7x. Accidental palm touches may freeze movement temporarily. Driver issues – outdated or corrupted touchpad drivers can cause intermittent cursor problems. External mouse problems – loose connection, low battery (wireless), or cable issues. High CPU/memory load – cursor may lag or freeze if the system is busy. USB interference – multiple USB devices or hubs sometimes interfere with cursor response. Fixes: Update touchpad/mouse drivers via Windows Update or Lenovo Vantage. Disable & re-enable the touchpad in Settings → Devices → Touchpad. Test an external mouse to see if the issue persists. Clean the touchpad surface and make sure nothing is touching it accidentally.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Maddie, Thank you for your inquiry. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing functionality issues with your Yoga Slim 7x. This could be caused by a number of things, so to start, let's see if this is a software or firmware-based issue: We recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. You may need to repeat this process several times for all updates to populate and then be applied. If after updates the issue persists, this may be a hardware-based problem. If this is the case, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support online at pcsupport.lenovo.com to submit a PC service request or over the phone at: 877-453-6686, to work with a representative who may help by providing a solution for you. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions!
