No, Level provides their own keys, but you may be able to get the Level lock rekeyed to your original key. I believe it uses the Schlage Type "C" keyway.

Yes, it comes with keys. You might even be forced to used them when the lock suddenly dies or refuses to work- I would recommend always having a key.

If your previous lockset used an SC1 key cylinder, then your new Level Lock+ Connect can be rekeyed to match that key. We recommend contacting a professional locksmith to do the rekeying of the cylinder.

If you want to use your original key in this deadbolt you would have to have it rekeyed by a locksmith but it can be done.
