• I run this humidifier on auto almost every night and haven't had any noticeable moisture on the carpet in the area that it is perched on. For reference i do have mine about 3 feet up on a dresser and also havent noticed any water on the dresser in the mornings either.

• We generally recommend placing the unit on a hard, flat surface like a table or countertop. We do not recommend placing this unit directly onto the floor as it may not allow the mist to be aptly absorbed into the air. Placing the unit on a higher surface will give the mist more time to travel.
