Yes! You can also vacuum the hair off the filter every so many weeks. I have cats and dogs and it’ll take a bad litter smell out using the ion feature.

The stock filter helps, but Levoit also sells pet specific filters.

Since this unit uses the H13 True HEPA filter, it can filter 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns in size and neutralize household odors like dog odor.
