Yes, the Superior 6000S is equipped with an Auto Mode that uses the humidifier’s sensor to automatically adjust the fan speed level to maintain a target humidity.

Yes. When it gets to the percentage you set it at, it stops running and only comes back on when it needs to.

It has several "auto" modes for that purpose, but in my experience they don't function very accurately. I contribute that to an ineffective humidistat design that doesn't sample properly. They can be set easily, however, from either the unit or the associated App.
