“Can this be placed against a wall on one side, or does the manual say to keep it spaced away from walls and furniture? I don’t have lots of large open areas to set it.”

yes it can be up against a wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For the Vital 200S, please allow at least 15 inches / 38 cm of clearance from the front and sides of the air purifier. We also recommend keeping the air purifier away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.
