Lexie/Bose work with an iPhone app, which includes a part where you can order wax guards and other parts. I assume there are apps for other types phones. The ear tips are smaller than my old hearing aids and the wire from the receiver holds its shape, so the ear tips nestle inside comfortably. I forget I’m wearing them, and I they don’t seem to gather wax in the wax guard very quickly. I think Bose re-thought hearing aids and mine are better than my old $5,500 pair. In that app, I can order 3 different lengths wires and tips for $50 each. They recommend replacing them annually.

With the Lexie B2 self-fitting OTC hearing aids Powered by Bose, there are replaceable ear tips/domes and also receiver wires that might need to be replaced at some point. The devices also use wax guards or wax traps that prevent wax from penetrating the hearing aid. To ensure that the hearing aids work optimally we also sell drying crystals that can be safely used with the devices. This ensures that the devices are always dry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, there are replaceable wax guards to prevent wax from entering the sound channel. However they do not have a blocking loop over the top to restrict the amount of wax from plugging the wax guard therefore requiring it to be cleaned &/or replaced more often. Second there are domes that can be purchased to replace ones that are too old. However, again the cost for both the wax guards and domes is several times higher that ones I've found for other hearing aids and there do not seem to be substitutes for the Lexie wax guards &/or wax guards.
